Does a supplier or customer want to monitor your activities? Then you need an extract from the CBC. A CBC extract is like a birth certificate, but for businesses. It includes your basic information and the activities you perform. There are different types depending on the purpose and location you need it for. For domestic use and following countries: Denmark, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Estonia and Latvia, an ordinary extract is sufficient. For foreign use, your partners, suppliers or customers will often find that a non-legalised extract is sufficient.

For other countries, the extract requires additional authentication in the form of an apostille or additional legalisation by the FPS Foreign Affairs. You can easily request this via the service "applying for a legalised extract".
